Speech and Language Pathologist assesses and treats speech and language disorders and impairments. Conducts evaluations of an individual's speech and language skills using applicable diagnostic materials and tools. Being a Speech and Language Pathologist develops treatment plans that utilize appropriate intervention approaches, strategies, and materials. Establishes treatment priorities that include advising, educating, and counseling. Additionally, Speech and Language Pathologist completes required documentation to record assessment and progress. Collaborates with physicians, family members, and other clinical providers to provide effective therapies. May direct support staff in assisting with treatment. Requires a master's degree in speech pathology. Requires Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager. Speech and Language Pathologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Assess, diagnose, and treat clients within a multi-disciplinary clinic setting and/or tele-therapy.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop effective individualized of treatment plans
Develop home programs and direct therapy for a pediatric population (0-18)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team, parents, and caregivers during progress report meetings
Supervision of SLP-Assistant if needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PEDIATRIC SLP
1. Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) (CFs Considered) 2. State of North Carolina license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) 3. At least two (2) years of pediatric experience is a PLUS 4. Early Childhood Intervention experience is a PLUS. 5. Excellent Communication skills
Fluency in Spanish and English is a PLUS.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Valid North Carolina Driver’s License • NC/National Background check
