Speech and Language Pathologist assesses and treats speech and language disorders and impairments. Conducts evaluations of an individual's speech and language skills using applicable diagnostic materials and tools. Being a Speech and Language Pathologist develops treatment plans that utilize appropriate intervention approaches, strategies, and materials. Establishes treatment priorities that include advising, educating, and counseling. Additionally, Speech and Language Pathologist completes required documentation to record assessment and progress. Collaborates with physicians, family members, and other clinical providers to provide effective therapies. May direct support staff in assisting with treatment. Requires a master's degree in speech pathology. Requires Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager. Speech and Language Pathologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Speech Tactics is Charlotte's premier Bilingual Pediatric Therapy Clinic. We are seeking a compassionate bilingual speech language pathologist to join our growing team of dedicated professionals in serving children and families in our community. This position provides evaluative, therapeutic, and consultative services for children of all ages with developmental delays or impairments in the areas that impact speech, language, feeding/swallowing, sensory systems, emotional regulation, fine/gross motor, and cognition. Speech Tactics provides a collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team of speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. We offer clinic-based therapy services in our beautiful facility, as well as teletherapy, daycare, and school-based services. Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Assess, diagnose, and treat clients within a multi-disciplinary clinic setting and/or teletherapy.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop effective individualized treatment plans
Develop home programs and direct therapy for a pediatric population (0-18)
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, parents, and caregivers during progress report meetings
Supervision of up to 2 SLP-Assistants as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PEDIATRIC SLP
1. Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) (CFs Considered) 2. State of North Carolina license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) 3. At least two (2) years of pediatric experience is a PLUS 4. Early Childhood Intervention experience is a PLUS. 5. Excellent Communication skills
Fluency in Spanish and English is a PLUS.
