Collaborates with physicians, family members, and other clinical providers. May direct support staff in assisting with treatment. Enjoy a dynamic and supportive therapy environment, professional camaraderie and 45 minute treatment times. The speech therapy teams at Samaritan evaluate and treat those experiencing difficulty with speech sounds, language, voice, swallowing, and cognition (memory, attention and problem solving). We provide care to adult patients with a wide variety of diagnoses in both the acute and outpatient settings.This position is for adult care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings and is a dual-site position for both North Lincoln (NLH) and Pacific Communities Hospital (PCH). Therapist will spend approximately 40% of their time at NLH and approximately 60% of their time at PCH. The speech pathologist needs to be comfortable treating adults in both the inpatient and outpatient setting and must be able to conduct modified barium swallow studies. Candidates must have already completed their CCCs.EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Current unencumbered Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license required.Certificate of Clinical Compliance from the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association, or active participant in Clinical Fellowship Year (CYF) required.Must be able to travel to multiple points of care.Healthcare Provider AHA BLS required upon submission.Must be able to perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies.
