Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages the daily operations of an organization's audiology and speech therapy functions. Plans and develops speech therapy programs and evaluates program objectives and results to determine effectiveness. Being an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor reviews assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations. Monitors inventories and supplies and tracks spending to ensure adherence to departmental budgets. Additionally, Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor implements operational procedures to ensure effective care, promote best practices, and facilitate efficient workflow. Provides professional guidance and oversight to resolve complex cases or issues. Recruits, hires, and manages staff and designs and leads development and training activities. May require a master's degree in audiology or speech pathology. Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a director. Ocean Speech and Learning Center is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists to add to our team. This is currently a part-time position with growth potential. Applicants must have at least one year pediatric experience beyond graduate school clinicals along with expertise in a variety therapeutic techniques and diagnoses. Our SLPs must be able to work after-school hours (3-7 pm) with additional day-time hours available and flexibility in days of the week (M-Fri) to see patients. SLPs must have their ASHA certification (CCC) and NJ license.
