Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages the daily operations of an organization's audiology and speech therapy functions. Plans and develops speech therapy programs and evaluates program objectives and results to determine effectiveness. Being an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor reviews assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations. Monitors inventories and supplies and tracks spending to ensure adherence to departmental budgets. Additionally, Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor implements operational procedures to ensure effective care, promote best practices, and facilitate efficient workflow. Provides professional guidance and oversight to resolve complex cases or issues. Recruits, hires, and manages staff and designs and leads development and training activities. May require a master's degree in audiology or speech pathology. Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Milestone Therapy provides pediatric Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. Our therapists provide therapy in the child’s home, daycare, preschool, school, sensory gym or via telehealth. We strive to ensure our therapists receive the support they need and the appreciation they deserve. Our therapists get to manage their own schedules and choose from an abundance of referrals to fill their schedules.
Pediatric Speech Therapy Requirements:
*Pediatric Speech Therapy experience, prefer at least 1 year of experience
*Licensed Speech Language Pathologist with the state (s) of NC and/ or SC
*Clean background check
Compensation:
We offer some of the highest hourly rates (based on experience) and $.50 per mile in between clients. Full-time employees are eligible for almost 3 1/2 weeks of PTO/ Paid Holidays per year.
