Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages the daily operations of an organization's audiology and speech therapy functions. Plans and develops speech therapy programs and evaluates program objectives and results to determine effectiveness. Being an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor reviews assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations. Monitors inventories and supplies and tracks spending to ensure adherence to departmental budgets. Additionally, Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor implements operational procedures to ensure effective care, promote best practices, and facilitate efficient workflow. Provides professional guidance and oversight to resolve complex cases or issues. Recruits, hires, and manages staff and designs and leads development and training activities. May require a master's degree in audiology or speech pathology. Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. About the Role
Engage is now hiring a passionate and patient-focused Speech-Language Pathologist for our partner Assisted Living Facilities in Nashua, NH and Salem, NH. In this role, you will determine appropriate speech therapy care and treatment for a geriatric population at a wide range of functional levels. You will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation. You will create and implement unique treatment plans for the patient's current level of functioning as well as potential improvement while demonstrating superior clinical judgment.

About You
You will be a great fit for this role if you bring the following:
- Graduate of anaccredited school of speech-language pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology
- Active or pending state license to practice speech-language pathology
- Experience or interest in a geriatric speech therapy setting
- Passion for delivering quality, evidence-based patient care
- Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage and interact positively with a diverse patient population of all ages
