Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages the daily operations of an organization's audiology and speech therapy functions. Plans and develops speech therapy programs and evaluates program objectives and results to determine effectiveness. Being an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor reviews assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations. Monitors inventories and supplies and tracks spending to ensure adherence to departmental budgets. Additionally, Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor implements operational procedures to ensure effective care, promote best practices, and facilitate efficient workflow. Provides professional guidance and oversight to resolve complex cases or issues. Recruits, hires, and manages staff and designs and leads development and training activities. May require a master's degree in audiology or speech pathology. Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Short Term Part Time Speech Language Pathologist/ Assistant

  • KidSense Therapy Group, LLC is looking for a dedicated pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for a short term school contract for about 20 hours per week until May! The SLPA will implement speech and language programs or activities as planned and directed by the speech-language pathologists.

    Position includes, but is not limited to:

    • Completing daily notes and progress reports in a timely manner according to company policy.
    • Passion for working with students in a school environment
    • Ability to collaborate, communicate and interact with a number of team members including school staff and families
    • Ability to collect and report student data
    • Ability to maintain records and documentation of the IEP implementation of goals and objectives tied to service delivery

    Job Requirements:

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders
    • Interest and/or specialization in pediatric speech and language therapy.
    • 1 year pediatric experience is highly preferred.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail, patience, and empathy.

    • Monday- Friday

    Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
