The Accessibility Programs Director, within the Department of Wellness, serves as the Principle Investigator (PI) for grants and contracts, a unit with numerous (approximately 15) private, state, and federal grants/contracts, operating statewide. Responsible for the daily administration of programs, staff, part-time student employees, and an annual budget in excess of approximately $3 million. This person serves as a liaison and sustains positive relationships between sponsors/funders and Oklahoma State University.
The position is responsible for directing and supervising personnel; researching, acquiring, and maintaining extraordinary funding/grant opportunities. The position provides authoritative advice and counsel to personnel regarding the budget; grant/contractual deliverables; university, state, and federal policies and procedures to maintain compliance with OSU Grants and Contracts Financial Administration (GCFA), University Research Services, and the DOW Senior Manager of Business Operations. The Director also provides supervision and oversight of Student Accessibility Services at OSU and cultivates collaborative relationships throughout the OSU system when feasible and mutually beneficial.
Travel schedule necessitates working prior to 8:00 a.m. and later than 5:00 p.m. Frequent in-state and occasional out-of-state travel is required.
