Brain Injury Association of Virginia is seeking an experienced Director of Programs to join our team . This hybrid position is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of all BIAV programs. Specific duties include working closely with the Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) as well as writing support group content and training support group leaders. Additionally, the Director of Programs will develop long-term objectives and monitor results, making changes when needed.
Qualified applicants will have a degree in Human Services, Public Health, Physical/Occupational Therapy or related field (Master's degree preferred). Program development in a health/injury organization and knowledge of government entitlement and service delivery systems is also required. Experience with brain injured individuals and fluency in Spanish is a plus.
