The Office of Sponsored Programs supports faculty and staff in applying for and administering sponsored research and projects. St. Edward's University has a long history of successfully obtaining large institutional grants, including grants to support the University's College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP), McNair Scholars program, and Institute for Interdisciplinary Science (funded by the NSF IUSE HSI Program). The Director will build on these successes by leading efforts to expand and diversify sources of extramural funding. The Director will also be responsible for protecting the University's interests by ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, university policies, and funding agency requirements. Reporting directly to the Provost, the Director will play a key role in promoting academic excellence by supporting faculty research and other strategic initiatives that align with the University's Holy Cross mission and vision to be a destination university for a more just world.
