Being a Sportsbook Writer possesses knowledge of sports betting as it relates to handicapping, point spreads, and money lines. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Sportsbook Writer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Sportsbook Writer may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Summary: The Sportsbook Supervisor oversees daily operation of the Sportsbook, to include oversight of data and wagering systems, odds board, TV’s and overall Sportsbook area. Provides exceptional guest service to all Sportsbook guests, including successfully managing guest issues/concerns. As a knowledgeable person on sports wagering, they educate guests on all sports wagering options available at the Silver Reef Sportsbook. At the end of each shift, the Sportsbook Supervisor will be responsible for reconciling the assigned cash drawers. Sportsbook Supervisors do not write tickets and are unable to void any of their own transactions. Perform all duties relating to Title 31/AML compliance in Front of House. Facilitate the placing of wagers by guests in a customer service friendly atmosphere. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures within the Sports Wagering Department. The Sportsbook Supervisor reports directly to the Sportsbook Wagering Manager, and directly supervises the Sportsbook Cashiers.
