Sportsbook Writer processes bets for customers who are betting on the outcomes of sporting events. Keeps track of odds and payoff amounts. Being a Sportsbook Writer possesses knowledge of sports betting as it relates to handicapping, point spreads, and money lines. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Sportsbook Writer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Sportsbook Writer may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Required Experience:
1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Must have outstanding interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
2. Must have strong attention to detail. Must be able to document and articulate information clearly.
3. Demonstrated ability to learn and communicate a variety of information to customers regarding casino products and services. Must be able to walk, bend, lift, kneel, stand, push, and pull, during an 8 hour shift. Must be able to work a variety of shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
