Sportsbook Writer processes bets for customers who are betting on the outcomes of sporting events. Keeps track of odds and payoff amounts. Being a Sportsbook Writer possesses knowledge of sports betting as it relates to handicapping, point spreads, and money lines. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Sportsbook Writer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Sportsbook Writer may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Must be able to obtain appropriate licensing from the State of Illinois
Under general supervision, provide security and protection of Fan Duel Sports, Race and Gaming; including money transactions, public relations, performing command center functions, assisting guests/customers and team members, as needed and maintaining order.

· Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
· Assist sick or injured patrons and employees, request an EMT as needed.
· Assist Race and Sports department in removing drop boxes.
· Report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
· Assist patrons and team members on directions and proper procedures.
· Check identification to ensure guests are over the age of 18 for race and 21 for sports and drinking.
· Perform fills, credits, exchanges and marker transfers when assigned, and following the required procedures.
· Drive company vehicles to transport individuals to specified locations or to patrol company property.
· Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of team members, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
· Monitoring patron and team member passage in and out of casino
· Write incident reports of daily activities and irregularities such as accidents, equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Obtain witness statements when necessary.
· Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
· Circulate among visitors, patrons, or team members to preserve order and protect property.
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Must be at least 21 years of age. High School Diploma or GED required.; or three years of casino Security, military, or police experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
