Staff Nurse - RN - CCU provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in the critical/coronary care unit. Performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - CCU assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' progress, records observations in patient medical record, and updates attending physician directly when necessary. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - CCU typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
The Coronary Care Unit (CCU) consists of 56 private beds organized into five pods. Each pod has its own pod station, medication room, food service area, equipment room, clean utility room and soiled utility room. Each patient room is equipped to provide individualized care for patients during their hospitalization.

The Aultman Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional nurse that provides direct, primary nursing care to patients/residents. The RN delegates and coordinates patient care, based upon a documented assessment of the patient’s/resident’s needs. The RN supervises the care provided by individuals such as licensed practical nurses, patient care technicians/state tested nursing assistants/nurse aides, medical assistants, and etc., if applicable.
