We currently have a client in Richland, WA looking for a Travel STEP RN - Step Down Registered Nurse!

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Step Down RN to implement nursing care services for the post surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care.

Contract Assignment ? 13 Weeks (Temporary)
Shift: Nights

Candidates need to possess phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety. Being Compassionate and sensitive is a prerequisite for the profession. The ideal Candidates goes a step further by being a critical thinker and fast to act with emergencies.

Requirements:

• Motivated candidates who are looking for career growth
• AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
• BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families

Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
• Direct and supervise other assigned team members
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide appropriate care
• Provide total patient care, including medication, orders, and treatments
• Assist the physician in performing special procedures
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in patient?s physical condition
• Perform techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively
• Maintain patient?s clinical records and assist with execution of the physician?s orders
• Administer treatment including sterile procedures
• All other responsibilities as needed
