Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Flight Transport monitors patient condition, documents nursing care, and reports patient status to clinical staff at receiving medical facility. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Flight Transport typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Typically requires Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. May require Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) certification. Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Telemetry RN to use different devices and technology to monitor patient blood pressure and oxygen saturation, heart rhythms and respirations, and other data, then record the information and interpret the data to help the doctor assess how the patient is recovering and allow the physician to determine a treatment protocol.
