Staff Nurse - RN - Home Care jobs in Benton Harbor, MI
Staff Nurse - RN - Home Care provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in a home care environment. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient home care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Home Care performs examinations and prescribed procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' progress and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Home Care promotes patients' independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license. What you will be doing as a Registered Nurse, RN
- Provide hands on advanced care in accordance with medical orders: tilt-table, advanced bowel programs, wound care, medication set ups, colostomy/catheter care, trachea care, feeding tubes, training and supervision of aides, etc.
- Work facility staffing shifts with our contracted facility partners
Some of our requirements:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) through the state of Michigan
- 6 months recent, relevant experience is preferred (in Facility Staffing, or Home Care)
- Valid Driver’s License, and Auto Insurance (if applicable)
- Updated TB Test, agree to Covid-19 testing as required.
- Must be able to pass a background check
