Wedgewood Rehabilitation and The Brook at High Falls is currently seeking a Staff Development/Infection Control Nurse.
The primary purpose of the job position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct all staff development educational programs throughout the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Is responsible for providing learning opportunities that will enable all employees to gain knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to perform their assigned duties safely and effectively. Plans for, coordinates and may instruct State-approved Certified Nursing Assistant courses, conducts new hire orientation at both facilities. Preferred teaching and training experience is required. The Infection Control portion of the position does require previous nursing home experience and certification course.
