Staff Nurse - RN - Infusion Therapy provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in need of intravenous treatment. Administers intravenous therapeutic treatments as directed by a physician. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Infusion Therapy determines appropriate venipuncture and/or catheter site. Observes patients' IV treatment and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Infusion Therapy provides information to patients and families regarding intravenous treatment and procedures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. May require CRNI certification as an infusion nurse. Requires a valid state RN license. Staff Nurse - RN - Infusion Therapy's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.     JOB SUMMARY:
    The RN/Registered Nurse in this role is responsible for high quality treatment and support of cancer patients and others with chronic diseases requiring infusion therapies.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    Registered Nurse with a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Pennsylvania or a Registered Nurse from another state with a Temporary PA Practice Permit

    6 months of experience working as a RN

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    Chemotherapy or Biotherapy experience is strongly preferred.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
    Able to sit occasionally; stand constantly; walk frequently.

    Able to lift/carry 0-10 lbs frequently; 11-50 lbs occasionally.

    Able to push/pull 0-20 lbs frequently; 21-75 lbs occasionally.

    Able to climb occasionally; reach constantly.

    Able to use hand for simple/firm grasping.
