What you have:

• Texas State RN Licensure (or Compact State License)
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing BSN, Master's Degree highly preferred
• Critical Care and Progressive Care clinical nursing leadership experience
• Ability to inspire and guide the ICU/PCU staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

This crucial role will oversee the 21-bed combined Intensive Care and Progressive Care Units, managing all daily operations of each assigned unit, and working collaboratively with the healthcare organization's Chief Nursing Officer CNO to maximize recruitment and retention and identify opportunities for quality and performance improvement. The Nurse Director will be assigned other projects as necessary, all the while working to bring cohesion among the 2 units and to the hospital organization as a whole.
