Staff Nurse - RN - Intensive Care Unit provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in the intensive care unit. Performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Intensive Care Unit assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' progress, records observations in patient medical record, and updates attending physician directly when necessary. **Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: 12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required. 12 months of travel experience is required. Requirements: Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license prior to placement start. Candidates must live at least 60 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role. COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted. Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role.
