Staff Nurse - RN - Long-Term Care jobs in Everett, WA
Staff Nurse - RN - Long-Term Care provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in a long-term care facility. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient long-term care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Long-Term Care assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' progress and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Long-Term Care promotes patients' independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license. QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- One yearLong Term Care experience within the last two years as an RN
- Have an active RN license or be willing to obtain a Registered Nurse license in WA state
- RN degree from an accredited registered nurse program
- BLS and all relevant Long Term Care/department-specific certifications required
