Staff Nurse - RN - Nursing Home provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in a nursing home environment. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Nursing Home assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' progress and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Nursing Home typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license. Staff Nurse - RN - Nursing Home's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Requirements for RN/LPN:
- Possess an active, unencumbered license in MA to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Clinical experience in a sub-acute and/or long term care setting preferred.
- Willing to train interested candidates.
Job Duties for RN/LPN:
- Take and record vital signs
- Monitor patients and chart medical records accurately
- Plans and manages patient care according to each patient's needs
- Provide routine care for patients
- Observe patients' health
