Staff Nurse - RN - Outpatient Care jobs in New York, NY
Staff Nurse - RN - Outpatient Care provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in an outpatient facility or clinic. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Outpatient Care assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. May call in pharmacy refills. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Outpatient Care typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license. Staff Nurse - RN - Outpatient Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Gross: $ 2,740 (based on 36 hours)
Misc. and I E : $ 500 (non-tax weekly)
Lodging : $ 800 per week
Hourly: $40/hour
OT Rate: $ 85/hour (after 40 hours)
ICU RN QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB SUMMARY
- BSN or higher degree from accredited nursing school.
- RN License to practice in New York State or by reciprocity
- ICU Nurses Nights 7A - 7:30P
- Requires AHA BCLS, ACLS, PALS
- Must have 3yrs ICU experience.
- MUST HAVE EXP W/EPIC
- Facility requires De-Escalation Cert prior to start.
- Efficient in managing patient with EVD, multiple medication drips, use of Hemosphere Flotrac.
- Efficient in managing trauma patient of different severities.
- Perform assessment using CAM, CPOT, and RASS
- Efficient in the care of patient with hypothermia treatment
- Familiar with the care pleurevac chest tube drainage
- Must observe strict isolation precaution, hand washing, gel in and gel out.
- Familiar with the use of PCA pump
