Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care provides professional nursing care to assigned pediatric patients in a home care environment. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient home care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care performs examinations and prescribed procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' progress and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care promotes patients' independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license. Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse (RN):
• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Leadership• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders• Perform client assessments as necessary• Case management and coordination• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tabletQualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):
• Be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.• Current state license and CPR certification.• Possess one (1) to two (2) years of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting is preferred.• Possess one (1) to two (2) years of recent experience in Home Care or Home Health is preferred.Our employees are our greatest asset:
