Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care provides professional nursing care to assigned pediatric patients in a home care environment. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient home care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care performs examinations and prescribed procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' progress and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care promotes patients' independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license. Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Client is a young adult who lives near the mouth of Parley's Canyon. Cares include pain meds and TPN feedings.
Available Shifts: Monday - Sunday, 6 hours in the evening (flexible start and end time)

Providing thoughtful care to client's based on personalized Plan of Care
Providing in-home assessments for client's
Monitoring and tracking changes in the client's conditions and needs, and keeping the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel informed
Proactively updating the client’s family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns
TPN Feedings and additional tasks as needed
What Do You Need to Be Successful in This Role?
Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Have a minimum one (1) year of documented experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility, preferred.
Obtain your CPR certification before or upon hire - we can help with this, ask us how!
Be an awesome driver with your own reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license
