Battenkill Valley Health Center's triage team is growing! We are seeking an exceptional registered nurse position working 20 or more hours per week in a fast-paced primary care setting. Responsibilities will include working on prior authorizations and facilitating imaging studies; telephone triage of sick patients/patient inquiries; and managing refills, with occasional in-office procedures (blood pressure checks, insulin teaching, glucometer teaching, immunizations, dressing changes, etc.) and communicating with patients on behalf of the providers.
Due to timing of patient call volume, work hours at a minimum would be 2-6 pm weekdays except Thursdays (12-4 pm) with opportunity to start earlier in the day if working more than 20 hours.
Electronic health record and Microsoft Office experience required. Salary commensurate with experience.
