Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit - Home Care provides professional nursing care to assigned psychiatric patients in a home care environment. Conducts patient intake assessments, develops mental health care plans in conjunction with psychiatrist, and administers medications. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit - Home Care develops therapeutic relationships with patients and records observations of behavioral changes in patient medical records. Helps family members to understand the nature of the condition, and teaches them how to maintain a healthy environment for the patient.
