Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit - Home Care provides professional nursing care to assigned psychiatric patients in a home care environment. Conducts patient intake assessments, develops mental health care plans in conjunction with psychiatrist, and administers medications. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit - Home Care develops therapeutic relationships with patients and records observations of behavioral changes in patient medical records. Helps family members to understand the nature of the condition, and teaches them how to maintain a healthy environment for the patient. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit - Home Care typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license. Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. STAFF NURSE RN (FT NIGHTS) – INPATIENT CARE UNIT
The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. The RN ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care. 12 hour shifts. Self-scheduling. Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing. At least 6 months of experience as a RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit. Experience in ortho preferred. RN, current in the State of Texas. Current ACLS preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment. Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit. Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
