Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit - Home Care provides professional nursing care to assigned psychiatric patients in a home care environment. Conducts patient intake assessments, develops mental health care plans in conjunction with psychiatrist, and administers medications. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit - Home Care develops therapeutic relationships with patients and records observations of behavioral changes in patient medical records. Helps family members to understand the nature of the condition, and teaches them how to maintain a healthy environment for the patient. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit - Home Care typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license. Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     Pay Range: $40,000 - $75,000

    Angels of Care nurses provide direct, one-on-one medical care and make a difference in the lives of their patients and families.
    We are looking for Registered Nurses (RN) & Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to work full-time and part-time shifts (days, nights and weekends available). Job duties include but are not limited to:

    • Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
    • Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
    • Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
    • Coordination of care
    • Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes
    • Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient
