Position Description: RN

The Clinical Nurse II responsibilities include:

• Independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinicalstandards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

• Responsible forprofessional accountability and development.

• Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

• SIPP Only: Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance andsupervision to a child.

Requirements:

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RN (Registered Nurse)

• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department

• Preferred Nurse Specialty

Education:

• Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing

• Preferred Bachelor's Nursing

Experience:

• Required experience includes 1 year RN Acute Care experience

• OR 6 months RN Acute Care experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.
