Staff Nurse - RN - Renal Dialysis jobs in Modesto, CA
Staff Nurse - RN - Renal Dialysis provides professional nursing care to assigned patients with kidney conditions that require dialysis treatment. Reviews patient histories, administers medications, and performs dialysis treatments. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Renal Dialysis ensures dialysis machine and all products used during a treatment are properly prepared and meet quality standards. Monitors the patient during dialysis, records observations in patient medical records, and reports any changes in condition to the physician as needed. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Renal Dialysis supervises technicians or nursing aides that perform monitoring or patient care tasks during a treatment. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent. Requires a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. What you will be doing
Customer Care. You will be a critical member of the clinic team, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere by greeting patients and visitors, answering phones, answering patient questions, and assisting patients with transportation arrangements, as needed.
Operational Support. You will maintain clinic operations effectively by updating and maintaining medical records, preparing patient records and charts for treatments, and assisting in auditing records for ongoing compliance. You will support financial operations by entering charges and preparing billing and patient attendance logs. You will also complete forms and reports as required by governmental agencies. You will ensure adequate supplies and inventory and reordering when required. In addition, you will help process lab work by preparing lab slips and tubes and directing labs to the appropriate laboratory.
