Stationary Engineer jobs in Lima, OH
Stationary Engineer operates, repairs, and maintains stationary equipment including boilers, generators, refrigeration, and turbines in buildings, plants or industrial facilities. Ensures that equipment is operating safely and within established limits. Being a Stationary Engineer conducts monitoring and failure analysis of meters, gauges and controls to determine the need for repair or replacement of parts. Performs preventative maintenance and documents completed procedures. Additionally, Stationary Engineer requires a high school diploma. Requires applicable Stationary Engineer's license for the state. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Stationary Engineer works under moderate supervision. - Identify problems and develop solutions that lead to large scale process improvements
- Establish overall process improvement priorities
- Perform time studies as required for production rate improvements
- Design and support implementation of tooling and fixture improvements
