Being a Stationary Engineer conducts monitoring and failure analysis of meters, gauges and controls to determine the need for repair or replacement of parts. Performs preventative maintenance and documents completed procedures. Additionally, Stationary Engineer requires a high school diploma. Requires applicable Stationary Engineer's license for the state. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Stationary Engineer works under moderate supervision. 3 Key Consulting is hiring an Engineer for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global bio-pharmaceutical company.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will apply process engineering knowledge to support technology transfer and ongoing cGMP production of commercial protein biologics processes.
Scope of work could include:- Must have strong knowledge and understanding of cell culture operations including large mammalian cell culture and perfusion bioreactor operations
- Applies expertise in process performance monitoring, floor support, troubleshooting of unit operations by integrating trends, data and information
- Compile and analyze process data using tools such as excel, Minitab, JMP
- Verify data in technical reports, spreadsheets, and regulatory filings
- Author process validation protocols, technical assessments, and product impact assessments
- Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills in technical writing and presentations
- Interface with other functions such as Process Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Supply Chain and Regulatory
Basic Qualifications: - Master's Degree OR
- Bachelor's Degree & 2 years of Process Development or Operations experience OR
- Associate’s Degree & 6 years of Process Development or Operations experience OR
- High school diploma/GED and 8 years of Process Development or Operations experience
- Experience related to upstream (cell culture) process development, scale-up and ongoing manufacturing of biologics (cGMP).
- Possess basic understanding of regulatory and cGMP requirements
- Able to compile and analyze process data using tools such as excel, Minitab, JMP
The person in this role will work with the manufacturing process and have the opportunity to present data and troubleshoot. You will also gain experience working for a biologics company.
