Stationary Engineer operates, repairs, and maintains stationary equipment including boilers, generators, refrigeration, and turbines in buildings, plants or industrial facilities. Ensures that equipment is operating safely and within established limits. Being a Stationary Engineer conducts monitoring and failure analysis of meters, gauges and controls to determine the need for repair or replacement of parts. Performs preventative maintenance and documents completed procedures. Additionally, Stationary Engineer requires a high school diploma. Requires applicable Stationary Engineer's license for the state. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Stationary Engineer works under moderate supervision. Summary
Estes Energetics is searching for an engineer to join our chemical manufacturing operations in the Colorado Springs area. The engineer will primarily be responsible for developing new chemical processes and designing and operating associated equipment. In this role, you will work under the guidance of senior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the success of our pilot plant in Colorado and our full-scale plant in Louisiana. This is a great career opportunity for new graduates as well as those with experience in chemical manufacturing.
