    COMPENSATION: $25-30/hour

    SUMMARY

    We are seeking a Stationary Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating the maintenance and repair of our aggregate plant stationary plants, crushers, and other machinery. The successful candidate will ensure that equipment is maintained in good working order, and that repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and effectively. This position requires an individual with strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and attention to detail.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead and coordinate the maintenance and repair of stationary equipment, including mining process equipment (crushers, screens, conveyors, chutes, etc.), mobile equipment metallurgical repairs (buckets, beds, etc.), and any other machinery that locations need assistance with repairing.
    • Coordinating and overseeing the work of maintenance personnel, including assigning work, monitoring progress, and providing feedback and guidance
    • Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance and repair work.
    • Develop and maintain a maintenance schedule for all assigned equipment.
    • Perform routine inspections and repairs of equipment to ensure proper functioning and to prevent breakdowns.
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems and malfunctions.
    • Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable regulations and standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repairs performed.
    • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
    • Ensure that spare parts and supplies are available for equipment maintenance and repairs.
    • Perform basic project management duties to include ordering materials, communicating with vendors, plant personnel, and supervisor, tracking progress, and forecasting budgetary items and timeline.
    • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor to ensure safe, efficient, and productive solutions for the crew and all Boxley locations the team supports.

    QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification(s)
    • Possess and maintain a company approved motor vehicle record [MVR]
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance of stationary equipment
    • Proficient welding and fabrication experience, Welding Certification(s) desired.
    • Strong technical skills with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
    • Proficient in MS Office Experience with maintenance software and programs preferred.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and determine.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to equipment maintenance.
    • Strong ability to work effectively with others when communicating and problem solving.
    • Ability to safely stand for long periods, stoop, bend, and lift / carry up to 100lbs, with support.
    • Vision requirements include reading numbers and observing details within the work environment.

    Applicants must be 21 years of age to drive a commercial vehicle and 20 years of age for all other vehicles; valid driver's license and company approved driving record is required if authorized to drive either a company or personal vehicle for business purposes.
