Stationary Engineer, Sr. operates, repairs, and maintains stationary equipment including boilers, generators, refrigeration, and turbines in buildings, plants or industrial facilities. Ensures that equipment is operating safely and within established limits. Being a Stationary Engineer, Sr. conducts monitoring and failure analysis of meters, gauges and controls to determine the need for repair or replacement of parts. Performs preventative maintenance and documents completed procedures. Additionally, Stationary Engineer, Sr. requires a high school diploma. Requires applicable Stationary Engineer's license for the state. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Stationary Engineer, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. What you will do:
Assists supervisor in providing leadership and technical support to assigned personnel. Aids management in creating and maintaining a safe work environment, managing costs and delivering a quality product on time. Performs as a working member of the crew providing additional oversight to ensure work is performed within budgeted time and within the guidelines of all applicable FAA regulations. Helps to manage the daily workflow of the aircraft by providing help with all aspects of the project including troubleshooting issues as well as problems with customers. This position performs safety sensitive functions as defined by the DOT under CFR 49 Part 40 and FAR 121.
