Performs preventative maintenance and documents completed procedures. Additionally, Stationary Engineer, Sr. requires a high school diploma. Requires applicable Stationary Engineer's license for the state. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requirements:
BS Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
US Citizen
Minimum 5 years experience in Manufacturing/Factory Environment
Proven experience in cost reduction, scrap reduction, or process improvement activities
Preferred Skills:
Experience with screen printing or printed electronics
Familiarity with manufacturing/factory processes
Proficiency in Time Studies, Kaizan Events, LEAN/Six Sigma processes, or Phase Gate Process
AutoCAD/Solidworks experience
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate and improve existing processes to reduce costs and improve quality
Champion non-conforming product problem solving
Verify rework methods and facilitate team meetings
Identify variations and establish critical controls to reduce undesirable outputs
Advise production team leaders on improvement opportunities
Coach teams towards a zero defect culture.
