Stationary Engineer, Sr. operates, repairs, and maintains stationary equipment including boilers, generators, refrigeration, and turbines in buildings, plants or industrial facilities. Ensures that equipment is operating safely and within established limits. Being a Stationary Engineer, Sr. conducts monitoring and failure analysis of meters, gauges and controls to determine the need for repair or replacement of parts. Performs preventative maintenance and documents completed procedures. Additionally, Stationary Engineer, Sr. requires a high school diploma. Requires applicable Stationary Engineer's license for the state. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Stationary Engineer, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Our client, one of the world's leading defense contractors is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Combat Mission Systems business. The Electrical Engineer supports the development, testing, fabrication, and fielding of highly complex military equipment. In this role, the Electrical Engineer: researches, plans, designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic and electrical systems and components. Utilizing advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, models, simulations, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures. Evaluate vendor capabilities, technologies, services, and their ability to deliver required products or services The qualified candidate will work under the general direction of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems, ranging from combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions. The Electrical Engineer provides detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product application.
Skills
• Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems that require a professional level of engineering knowledge• Experience in creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings.
• Ability to create and manage interface control documents.
• Ability to perform circuit simulation (PSpice or LTspice)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey data, information, and technical results to customers.
Experience
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis • Experience developing technical documentation – such as drawings, reports, & technical analysis
Education
Typically requires 3 years relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field or 2 years with a Master's degree
