Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., a growing multi-disciplined engineering firm, is seeking a resourceful, self-motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer with the ability to provide high-level engineering services for a broad range of clientele. Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of diverse consulting engineering experience on municipal, commercial, private, and/or industrial facilities projects. Candidates should possess acute analytical skills, the capability to design and manage small to large projects, and a comprehensive technical background across all facets of electrical engineering related to building and power distribution systems.
Specific areas of expertise could include:
Excellent communication and writing skills are essential to accomplish synergistic interaction with both technical clients and co-worker/staff. Software capabilities must include Microsoft Office platform, AutoCAD and/or Revit. Technical capabilities must include a strong working knowledge in industry standards such as IEEE and NFPA as well as State building codes and. Additionally, a broad familiarity with the work of other project team members, including architects and structural, mechanical and civil engineers is desired to allow for effective, integrated and well-coordinated project design solutions. Desired soft skills include interfacing with internal and external clients, mentoring younger staff, and assistance with proposal development.
This position will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to develop and manage dynamic, challenging projects that incorporate innovative and unique goals and objectives. Additional industry certifications, including Certified Energy Manager or LEED AP, are considered a plus. Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in NY, PA or MD (or eligibility to obtain) is desired.
Estimated Pay Range: $120,000 - $140,000/year.
Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
