Stationary Engineer, Sr. jobs in Springfield, MO
Stationary Engineer, Sr. operates, repairs, and maintains stationary equipment including boilers, generators, refrigeration, and turbines in buildings, plants or industrial facilities. Ensures that equipment is operating safely and within established limits. Being a Stationary Engineer, Sr. conducts monitoring and failure analysis of meters, gauges and controls to determine the need for repair or replacement of parts. Performs preventative maintenance and documents completed procedures. Additionally, Stationary Engineer, Sr. requires a high school diploma. Requires applicable Stationary Engineer's license for the state. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Stationary Engineer, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. - Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Siemens, Wonderware System Platform, FactoryTalk View, Ignition, Schneider/Modicon, GE and similar
- VFD's, I/O and P&ID
- Years of experience working for an automation systems integrator
- Start ups, testing and commissioning of control systems
- InBatch experience and Historians a plus
- Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet
- Batch and continuous process control strategies
- Water/wastewater, life sciences, consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, specialty chemicals
- Ability to operate independently and program PLC's from scratch
- 25-30% travel tolerance
