Stationary Engineer, Sr. operates, repairs, and maintains stationary equipment including boilers, generators, refrigeration, and turbines in buildings, plants or industrial facilities. Ensures that equipment is operating safely and within established limits. Being a Stationary Engineer, Sr. conducts monitoring and failure analysis of meters, gauges and controls to determine the need for repair or replacement of parts. Performs preventative maintenance and documents completed procedures. Additionally, Stationary Engineer, Sr. requires a high school diploma. Requires applicable Stationary Engineer's license for the state. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Stationary Engineer, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Providing stormwater management designs and site designs, work closely with architects, landscape architects, environmentalists, and developers of all capacities. Other areas of our firm’s expertise include river backwater modeling, and site design within FEMA designated coastal and riverine floodways and floodplains.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Site design projects that requires
- Drainage management designs
- Septic design
- Site grading
- Preparation of a variety of local municipal applications
- Road design and storm sewer design
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Civil Engineering from an accredited engineering school
- Experience with AutoCAD as well as other industry standard software
- EIT certification preferred
- P.E. License a plus
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- Hands on experience with AutoCAD
- Energy and passion for engineering
- Good communication skills
