The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of production quality standards and documentation. You will define quality requirements for new products and preparing/maintaining vital documentation, monitor production and Fabrication quality performance to identify opportunities for improvement, review and maintenance of quality files, procedures, work instructions, etc. for relevance and adherence to the Quality System, customer, and regulatory compliance.
How you will do it:
Draft, edit, revise and update as necessary, all vital documents associated with the Quality System, i.e. Quality Manual and maintain electronic delivery system.
Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
Administration of Corrective Action Request system and Customer Complaints.
Compiles and analyzes operational, test, and research data to establish and/or evaluate performance standards and limits for new or existing supplier products.
Communicate and resolve issues with project team, R&D team, suppliers, and manufacturers.
Communicate new product inspection outcomes & risks/mitigations effectively and efficiently during NPI process. Write and/or approve production control plans.
Protect customers from defects by the application of production control plans, mistake-proofing techniques, hard and soft process controls, and (process, product, and layered) audits.
Apply statistical methodology including capability studies and analysis, statistical process control, design of experiments, and measurement systems analysis, among other techniques and tools.
Developing new methods for improving processes and identifying areas for improvement based on data analysis.
Conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated knowledge of GD&T.
Knowledge of Quality Engineering and manufacturing processes and systems.

University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 Years suggested minimum experience.
Proficient with structured methodologies including but limited to Good Engineering Practices, Quality by Design, Design Space, & Process Control Strategies to be employed during industrial process design, validation, and control.
Strong team and interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead and influence others to make positive change. Ability to work with, assist, influence and direct Manufacturing Engineers.
Advanced level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred:
New Product Development background
Experience in Kaizen and Six Sigma Projects
A3/8D experience a plus
