Sterile Supply Attendant sterilizes, cleans, wraps, stores and distributes supplies, instruments, and equipment used in patient care. Disinfects equipment requiring decontamination or sterilization. Being a Sterile Supply Attendant prepares supplies and equipment for use during patient procedures. Operates autoclaves and other equipment to sterilize instruments and equipment. Additionally, Sterile Supply Attendant inspects and assembles instruments, equipment, trays, and packs. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Sterile Supply Attendant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Our facility is in need of a full-time Supply Chain Operations Analyst at Miller County Hospital Supply Chain Department.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the administrative and support functions of the Supply Chain Department. Assists with identifying and implementing operational efficiencies and transitioning to more effective utilization of technology. Manage projects from inception through completion, including researching solutions and assisting with implementation.
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in procurement, contracting, or Supply Chain Operations preferred.
- Experience with project management is preferred.
- Experience with Cerner is preferred.
