Being a Sterile Supply Attendant prepares supplies and equipment for use during patient procedures. Operates autoclaves and other equipment to sterilize instruments and equipment. Additionally, Sterile Supply Attendant inspects and assembles instruments, equipment, trays, and packs. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Sterile Supply Attendant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. THE POSITION:
An Outdoor Customer Service Rep assists our customers and vendors at a busy Landscape Supply Yard. This position requires excellent communication, striving to meet and exceed expectations in a courteous manner. Assisting customers may involve educating them on products/services, helping customers sort through loose stone, escort them around landscape supply yard, obtain objects off high shelves, load their vehicle with purchased material, and so on. The Rep is trained to safely operate small equipment such as forklifts and wheel loaders. This position is physically demanding, outdoors (in all weather conditions), and requires candidate to lift or stand the entire shift.
REQUIREMENTS:
-- At least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
-- Valid Class C Driver?s License
-- Ability to work in various weather conditions with exposure to heat, cold, wind, and rain.
-- Ability to speak professional working English
-- Able to perform physical requirements of the job, including: prolonged physical exertion, standing, reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling. Able to handle objects of unique shape and size and weighing up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day, and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
CORE RESPONSIBILIITIES:
-- Safely load customer vehicles by operating wheel loaders, forklifts, and other equipment.
-- Educate customers on the products and services provided by Bee Green. This includes a general knowledge of bulk landscape materials, hardscape materials, sod & artificial grass, etc.
-- Perform pre-rental inspections of equipment, and help customer understand safe operation of rented equipment.
-- Daily pre-op inspections of equipment and document inspections in the company?s fleet management software.
-- Follow all requirements of this Safety Sensitive Position, including consenting to be part of a random drug screening program to promote a drug free work environment.
-- Maintain the ability to problem solve and manage customer complaints professionally.
-- Fill 50-75 lb bags of landscaping material, including rocks, sand, and mulch.
-- Work in a safe manner to safeguard the health of yourself and others by following all stated company policies and ?common sense? precautions.
-- Keep company facilities, clean and organized.
-- Review deliveries that will be performed by the Company each day and begin preparation materials to ensure timely delivery
-- Manage daily schedule to ensure required rest period breaks and lunch breaks are taken on time and in accordance with California labor laws.
-- Perform all essential job functions in accordance with the Company?s stated mission and Core Values.
