Stock Clerk - Grocery Store is responsible for adequately stocking grocery store shelves. May also be responsible for new product displays. Being a Stock Clerk - Grocery Store prices new items and ensures that price changes are carried out appropriately. Assists customers in finding requested grocery items or with questions regarding pricing. Additionally, Stock Clerk - Grocery Store handles all grocery products in a safe, sanitary manner. Maintains cleanliness and neatness. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Stock Clerk - Grocery Store may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. The employee is assigned by the Government to tool cribs, Mega Centers and plant services. Stock Clerks shall monitor, make adjustments, maintain appropriate stock levels or replenish items for material carried and stock in Mega Centers and will prepare requisitions to refill onsite stock and shall perform any combination of the following duties:
