Stock Room Supervisor opportunity with growing, successful regional family owned and professionally managed company, serving customers since 1934.

As Garment Central Stockroom Supervisor, you can expect to:

• Management of stockroom/receiving
• Ensure stock and nonstock items are requisitioned, received, and distributed as requested.
• Perform cyclic inventory on a monthly basis and ensures proper inventory for current and projected usage
• Works on assigned projects and provides updates weekly to Manager
• Generate weekly and monthly reports for management tracking usage of items received and issued using basic computer spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)
• Track status and completion of significant organizational projects
• Resolve problems encountered during daily operations and determines appropriate solutions; promotes teamwork. Encourages regular communication, informs staff of relevant business issues and their impact on the organization
• Conduct hiring interviews and selects candidate(s) for job opening(s)
• Manage a team of 6-12 employees
