Checks order forms, delivery requests, and approval forms to ensure proper documentation, accuracy, and on time deliveries. Additionally, Stock Clerk, Sr. requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Stock Clerk, Sr. typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.     Overview: 
    A Cashier rings customer orders on a cash register, operates the checkstand belt, handles Electronic Benefit Transfers, coupons, cash and other forms of payment from customers according to store policy.  Cashiers make pickups, perform fractional calculations quickly, and verbally communicate with customers.  They balance the register and account for the receipts periodically during a shift and at the end of a shift.  They stock product on shelves in various areas of the store.  They perform routine cleaning and sweeping functions around the store, including restrooms.  They collect shopping carts from the parking lot.

    Job Requirements:
    1. Work shifts
    2. Read & write
    3. Add, subtract, multiply & divide
    4. Normally works a maximum 8 hour shift
    5. Operate a cash register and checkout belt
    6. Mentally calculate fractional division quickly
    7. Lift up to 30 lbs.
    8. Communicate verbally with customers
    9. Operate an intercom system
    10. Collect money and give correct change to customers
    11. Redeem Food Stamps/coupons/gift certificates correctly
    12. Manage receipts and balance within prescribed limits
    13. Perform sweeping and general cleaning duties around but not limited to their work area
    14. Stock all areas of the store in the correct locations, neatly and accurately
    15. Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and place in the store
    16. Reach and stock product up to 6 feet high
    17. Work in a refrigerated environment
    18. Maintain neat personal appearance
    19. Follow company policies and procedures
    20. Travel to and from work
    21. Maintain, clean, sanitize, and keeps secure all areas in which Customers and or employees use.
    22. Answer phones.

    The above duties must be performed efficiently and courteously so as to insure maximum customer satisfaction.
