    In this position, you will handle the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory control activities for a variety of stock items and supplies within the institution's warehouse or commissary. You will be responsible for training and supervising inmate workers in these tasks as well. Additionally, you will prepare regular reports and operate motor vehicles, fork lifts, or hand trucks for various purposes such as moving heavy items or making deliveries.

    Work Schedule and Additional Information: 
    • Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
    • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
    • This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
    • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please Note: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $40,664.00 (before taxes).

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
    • One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or
    • An equivalent combination of experience and training. 

    Special Requirement:
    • This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license.

    Additional Requirements:
    • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
