Department: Base Operations and Support
Job Summary:
The Supply Technician will be responsible for assisting in the operation of the supply procurement process and warehousing of materials. This position will receive, distribute, store, and inventory materials and supplies in support of the contract operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide daily status reports for all ordered parts to the management
Ship parts to and from vendors
Distribute or issue materials and supplies
Order, track, receive, inspect, process, store, issue, turn in, ship, and exercise control over supplies and materials
Shipping and receiving HAZMAT items
Perform data entry associated with parts distribution, issue, returns, and warranty claims
Reviews inventory levels as necessary
Follows up on delayed or otherwise undelivered orders with shippers
Conducts routine inventories
Perform other duties as requested Preparing and documenting the supplies regulations and policies
Understanding the organizations goals
Inspecting the documents at the warehouse
Making sure the items received are not damaged
Preparing all the shipping documents of the respective products
Checking the documents before the material leaves the warehouse
Overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse

Performing a variety of warehouse duties
Reporting all the supply activities to the higher management
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficient in written and oral communication skills according to skill requirements
Possess strong computer skills, able to read, write, and comprehend written instructional documents
Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Ability to apply concepts of introductory algebra and geometry
Proficient Microsoft Office productivity suite
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least two years of related experience required
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged period of standing, bending, reaching, and working with hands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Occasional periods of prolonged exposure to loud noises
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
Ability to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands as necessary
Ability to hear and see to position and safety requirement levels
Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals
Special Qualifications/Requirements:
Must be able to successfully pass as required a federal, state, or local government's background investigation
